In order to resolve "long-standing interpretive ambiguity in key Bible passages regarding homosexuality," a group has created a new interpretation of the Bible titled "The Queen James Bible." The new Bible is supposed to clarify confusing passages about homosexuality that have been construed in the past as anti-gay.

The book's cover flaunts a huge rainbow cross, and is described on their website as a "big, fabulous Bible." The chosen name comes from the rumor that King James was a well-known bisexual, who had so many gay relationships that some called him "Queen James."
