Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn marked the second match-up this NBA season between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. Fans who were hoping for another extremely exciting game got their wish as it was another nail-biter that went down to the wire. The Knickerbockers captured the win this time around, evening up the league's most exciting rivalry at one apiece.
Good friends and fellow Brooklyn natives Jay-Z and Spike Lee were both in attendance for Tuesday night's game which saw the Knicks pull out a 3-point victory after Jason Kidd nailed a clutch three-point shot while being fouled. Jay and Spike greeted one another before and after the game but sat across the court from each other during the action as they cheered for their respective teams.
The Knicks/Nets rivalry has livened the city of New York up and with two more games between the two squads left in the regular season, basketball fans could be in for more excitement. Expect both the Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden to be jumping if either of these two teams make the playoffs.
