Jay-Z is one of the many notable celebrities who was in attendance at Miami's Art Basel. He and his wife Beyonce joined a number of other Hollywood figures during the art festival and spent their time admiring works of art from various artists.

One painting in particular caught Jay's attention during the last day of Russell Simmons' Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Hov was so impressed by the artwork that he dropped $20,000 on the piece which is titled "Everyone's Scared". It was designed by 31-year-old Hebru Brantley, a Chicago native, who was ecstatic about doing business with the Brooklyn rap mogul.

"Last day of #artbasel and my work goes into the Sean Carter Collection. Thanks Jay and B for your hospitality. JAYZ OWNS A HEBRU BRANTLEY!!!#jayz #beyonce," Brantley wrote on Instagram.

Check out the painting Brantley sold to Jay-Z above and let us know your thoughts on his work of art.
