The Hip Hop community has experienced a drought in music from popular band Outkast as Andre 3000 and Big Boi have been mainly focusing on their respective solo careers. The duo has always been a fan favorite among many rap fans, but would fan perception have been any different if Outkast consisted of three members?

Big Boi explains how that almost came about, in a recent interview, during which he stated that Cee Lo Green was almost a member of Outkast because the three were always hanging out together. But Big Boi states that it didn't work out because Cee Lo wasn't around as often, explaining that he and Andre 3000 were much closer.

"Yeah, kinda sorta. He was hanging out with us. We go way back, so kinda. For a brief minute," he said. "Me and Dre was just together more. We would see Cee Lo sometimes but not all the time like that. Me and Dre was together day in, day out."

Big Boi's latest album "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors" is set to hit stores tomorrow, December 11th.
