On his second studio album, West Coast rapper Game had one of the best singles out at the time with his 2006 hit "It's Okay (One Blood)" resonating throughout the Hip Hop community. It was on this song that Game took a shot at Brooklyn rap mogul Jay-Z, rapping "You 38 and you still rappin' uh", referring to Jay's age as an artist.

Game recently reflected on that decision and admitted that it ultimately thwarted any chance of him ever recording a song with Jay.

"I think I f***ed that up early in my career," Game said in an interview. "I'm probably one of the only cats that went at Jay-Z's neck and had a career after."

Game also says that this issue caused problems at home as well.

"I remember having a real altercation with the mother of my children," he said. "She was like, 'You don't know what you're doing. He's going to come back and we're not going to be able to survive.' Jay and Beyonce are a powerful couple, they will turn your whole family against you."

Game isn't optimistic that he'll collaborate with Jay, but says that he'll be prepared to if it comes to that.

"If we don't ever do a song, f*** it, but if we did, it would probably be some crazy s*** because I would really go into my trick bag for that one."
