Two aspiring rappers from New York and Connecticut were booked on charges Friday for kidnapping, robbery, and extortion, after allegedly attempting to extort a record producer for 50 stacks.

Record exec John Fontein agreed to pay 33-year-old Ryan Mixon and 28-year-old Andres Lozano $50,000 to make a rap record, before ultimately deciding to back out of the deal at the last second. Mixon and Lozano reportedly got irritated, took out a gun, and forced Fonstein to buy them almost $4,000 worth of equipment at the Apple Store. Fontein, who's the son of Goldman Sachs broker Andrew Fontein, went to police the next day and eventually had the two rappers arrested.
