33-year-old Christopher Franklin Weaver decided to test his luck with the law just 55 minutes after being released from jail, when he decided to rob a bank. Weaver was released from Lane County Jail in Eugene, Ore., Thursday, and soon after he allegedly robbed a Pacific Continental Bank branch a mile away.

County Sheriff's Sgt. Carrie Carver spoke on the situation, saying "This isn't necessarily a worst-case scenario, but it's a very bad case."

Weaver was previously held for second degree sexual assault, and was released due to budgetary constraints and lack of beds in the facility.

"As we get smaller, the people we release get more dangerous," said Jail Commander Greg Fox.
