Bun B Remembers Late Rapper Pimp C

Today (December 4th) marks the fifth anniversary of the death of UGK member Pimp C. The southern rapper, real name Chad Butler, was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room he was staying in on this day back in 2007. Fellow UGK member and Pimp C's close friend Bun B took to Twitter to remember his fallen comrade.
"Not enough words to describe how I feel. 20 years after we started, and 5 years after you left us, what UGK," he tweeted.
Bun also acknowledged Jay-Z's birthday and said that he knows the Brooklyn rap mogul is thinking about the late Pimp C.
"Happy birthday @S_C_ I know that you celebrate your born day with a heavy heart. I know how much love you had for Pimp, and his love for u."
Rest in Peace Pimp C.

December 4, 2012 marks the five year anniversary of Pimp C's passing. When Pimp C transitioned on December 4, 2007, he left a big impression on 1 Legion artist Lil Atl and it shows with this record that gives depth to his catalogue. Lil Atl pays homage to UGK, most notably Pimp C through this record. "I wanted to show respect to the legend Pimp C so me and (1 Legion executive) Mr Furious just lined it up to drop this song at the right time. In this game timing is everything." The beat sounds like it could come out of a Port Arthur trunk or an Atlanta trunk as Lil Atl tells exactly how hearing UGK for the first time (as a second grader) felt and how it inspired him to begin a career in music. Long live the Pimp!
