The Feds will no longer go after Medical Marijuana patients
Last week, you could get busted by the Feds for having a medical marijuana shop in California. That was last week. Today, the FBI announced a new policy where they will no longer prosecute medical marijuna smokers or the stores that supply them. This is a major difference from the Bush era, where the FBI would go after everyone, regardless of state law.
Medical marijuana is currently allowed in 14 states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
So if you're out of work, go ahead and open up your own weed shop. It's totally legal now.
