Before YouTube was around rap fans got their fill via radio, listening to their favorite rapper stake his claim on the airwaves while inspiring a new generation of rappers on the other side of the speaker. Since the early 80's when the phenomenon was still growing, many radio stations have built a strong reputation for featuring the best rappers and their killer freestyles.

Big L def did his thing but he didn't make Jay look wack at all...Jay's 1st verse was fire, his last, he stumbled...but wack, u crazy AF...Big L was a beast no doubt...and he was better than Jay, I agree, but he did not shit on that nigga, that's a stretch.
