Monday night marked a great night for Brooklyn as the New York Knicks made their way into the borough to face the Nets for the first time at the Barclays Center. The arena was filled to the brim with Knicks and Nets fans, including Jay-Z, and at halftime the fans were treated to a performance from Hip Hop legend Slick Rick.

Fans weren't too impressed by Rick's performance and he even received some boos from the crowd. But that was nothing compared to what Knicks beat writer Frank Isola had to say about The Ruler's half time show. He took to Twitter to blast Slick Rick, insulting the iconic rapper, much to the dismay of Hip Hop fans.

Many fans weren't going to let Isola get away with that and proceeded to fire back at him. Check out the tweets from Frank Isola and the fans' responses above and let us know what you think of this situation.
