For more than a year now, Mac Miller and DJ Jazzy Jeff have been in constant contact with one another, discussing joining forces for a collaborative project. Now the two have finally gotten the ball rolling and are beginning to see some progression with their upcoming musical venture. They've titled it "92 to Infinity", and after several release delays Mac says the project is nearing its 2013 drop date.

"Yea, it's still happening. We've got a date for it, It's really dope," he said. "The project is called '92 to Infinity.' It's a play on Souls of Mischief's ''93 Til Infinity.' That song, it was a great song."

The Pittsburgh emcee then spoke about his close collaborator for this record, having nothing but good things to say about Jazzy Jeff.

"Basically, I just wanted to team up with someone who's such a respected veteran. Jeff, still to this day, is one of the greatest DJs of all time, just to see him live. There's not many people who can put on a better live show than Jazzy Jeff as a DJ."
