Rihanna Explains Why She Didn't Party With Fans & Press On Tour

When news first broke that Rihanna was going to be traveling on her 777 Tour with 200 guests aboard her tour plane, including fans and media personnel alike, people got the wrong impression that she was actually going to be hanging out and partying with them during her downtime. However, this was not the case, as her many guests sadly learned first hand.
Rihanna opened up about her tour experience and explained to BBC Radio why she barely spent any time at all with the press and fans aboard her 777 Tour plane. According to her, the plane rides were to be used for rest periods between shows.
"It was different having to do your job but also have 200 guests come along with you. They all want you to host a party every time you get on the plane after a show but you really only have that time to sleep until you get to the next country. Sometimes it was a two-hour ride to the next country and that was all the sleep you would get. I knew I had seven countries and seven shows and I had to save my voice. I didn't go crazy. I didn't party too hard."
