Nicki Minaj Says Steven Tyler Is Racist For "Cornfield" Comment

Former American Idol judge and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler really infuriated Nicki Minaj recently when he made some ill-advised comments about her to MTV. He was critiquing Nicki's judging skills and made a reference to her sending Bob Dylan to a cornfield, a comment which she wasn't too happy about.

"You just have to give your opinion. It wasn't hard for me, but I would imagine it's hard for some people, and they need a manager to say 'Shut the f*ck up, and just give them your opinion. These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they're in New York City, they're scared to death; you're not going to get the best [out of them]. ... If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying."

Nicki was quick to respond to Steven's cornfield comments by blasting him for being a racist on her Twitter account, while at the same time she found an opening to slip in a jab at Mariah Carey. Check out her angry tweets about Steven's comment above.

I have liked Arrow smith for yrs but what he said was a racist and inappropriate statement to Nicki. Come on man your reaching to hard to make something out of nothing. Its not about suppporting OUR people...its a simple matter of right and wrong and Nicki is WRONG! Steven Tyler said she would have sent him back to the cornfields, referring to the Midwest...which...by surprise...is known for...wait for it...CORNFIELDS!!! DING DING DING! There was nothing racist about his comment. He said she would have sent him back to the Midwest basically, but used cornfields as a reference. Sooo how does cornfields apply to black people and racism?!? Anybody, anyone, anybody...Bueller?...Bueller? The fact is it doesnt apply at all. Now if he wouldve said send him back to the "cottonfields" that could be looked at as racist. Personally I dont associate cornfields with black people when I hear the word, and I dont know anyone who would. Take your blinders off cuz all your hearing is "field" which doesnt always pertain to cotton picking niggaz. Lets not be ignorant and blow his comment out of proportion because he really said nothing wrong or racist. Nicki just didnt have a good rebuttal so she pulled the race card. Just like most hoes when you hurt they feelings they dont say anything sensible, they just let the first dumb ass comment fall out of their mouth without thought...which is exactly what Nicki did. In my opinion she needs to apologize to duke cuz her comment was offensive and had no merrit when he was just stating an opinion.
