Turkey Pardoned by Obama Euthanized

Peace, the turkey pardoned by President Obama, was euthanized a year after the bird was given a second chance at life by the president. Peace, along with another bird named Liberty, were pardoned by Obama in an annual ceremony a year ago.

CNN confirmed that the bird was euthanized after a weekend illness at his home at the Mount Vernon estate. The decision to euthanize was left up to a trusted veterinarian.

The timing of Peace's death has many scratching their heads, but Rebecca Aloisi, vice president for marketing at the Mount Vernon Estate, insisted that his death was merely coincidental.

"I appreciate where you're going with this. But I assure you that these birds are extremely well cared for."

who gives a flying fuck...how about getting our country back on it's feet...and to be honest Obama and any other president on this day has never gotten on nation wide tv and apologized to every Native American in this country. Yes we've managed to use Thanksgiving as a "day of giving thanks"...but do NOT forget the true meaning and how Thanksgiving was founded people. It is a painful feeling as a Native American to have our land stolen and each year we all in this country eat, share laughs, blow money on black fridays but not once do we pray for the peace in the hearts of Native Americans....not once does Obama get up on that TV and apologize for how the government treated them and how they still - TILL THIS DAY - are treating them....FUCK that turkey lol...report on something better.
