Rihanna's upcoming album, Unapologetic, is set to reach some really high sales numbers in just her first week. Ranging between 240-260,000 copies sold in her first week, Rihanna would easily reach the number 1 spot on top of the charts. Let's see if the numbers hold true when the first week of her album being on sale is over.

She eats off show money. Record sales don't make her shit. She can get her total royalty checks in like 3 maybe 4 shows. If drakes waffle color sensative ass gets 2 300k a show then I know ri ri is makeing that then some. Besides she is signed to a major. Lol those chump change numbers will barely recoup her video and promos lol. Bet she get 2 $ a record sold. Lastly b was the highest paid woman entertainer not cause of album sales lol.Its cause she toured the world and got about 500k per show. Do the math she made over 40 mil. Moral of the story musicians in the free download era make very little from record sales incomparison to show money. So who gives a fuck

Obviously she's not broke. This article is about record sales so Im spoke on her record sales not her money. One more thing, Beyonce actually SELLS records because all of her albums have went number 1 and all but the last album has went at least triple platinum and thats just domestically. I'm not a huge fan of Beyonce or Rhi BUT if Im going to speak on them I like to speak facts.

Reading the title, I was thinking she was going to sell 700k. With all of her star power you would think most, if not all, of her albums had went number 1. She never had an overall number 1 album so this will be her first. Also, she doesn't sell as much as you would think. All of her albums have sold no more than 2 mill. This article was better off saying "Rihanna will have number 1 album for the first time" or "Rihanna has done something for the first time".

Those are good number for Rih first week, her last two albums didnt touch that first week. Taylor Swift moves 1mill first week because she has a different fan base, and a monster of a promo team. She was on Papa johns pizza boxes, Mall ads, she has banners around the U.S. above frequent highways. She prolly has the best promotional team ever. Not to mention her commercial and docile image which appeals as more appropriate for a wider variety. Where you have Rihanna catering to a specific portion of music fans, leaving her some what limited. But that's the path she chose!!! Remember man Good girl gone Bad was her highest selling album. That's right before she transformed into this gritty Madonna impersonator... But hey. She get bank anyway so who the fuck cares

The country artist you are talking about is Kenny Chesney and he only sole 386,700 compared to Kanye's 957,000 almost a million albums sold and 50's 691,000. They both out sold him by alot so country music does not always sell more that hip hop/rap. Get your facts straight.

Taylor Swift is country. Country music ALWAYS sells more than hip-hop. Remember that 50-Kanye nonsense? "If you sell more I'll retire"... well Kanye sold more than 50, but a country artist sold more than both of them. As for Rihanna, she drop an album every year. Talk that Talk was nonsense. She sells a whole bunch of singles, but she never had an album where every track was half decent.
