Due to the fact that the Georgia Department of Revenue has filed documents claiming that Nas owes a huge total of $1,083,435 in back taxes from the years 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010, he will have to fork over that money from his concert tour with Lauryn Hill.  Live Nation, the promo company that has been advertising Nas and Lauryn Hill's tour, has allegedly been hit with a court order which was obtained by the GDR which commands them to hand over Nas' earnings until his debt is paid off.

According to Nas' representatives, his tax issues have been taken care of, but the GDR is insisting that the case is actually still ongoing against the Queens rapper.
