Everyone knows LA rides out for Kendrick Lamar, who's "Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City" album has solidified him as the West Coast's rap messiah. Considering this, it's no surprise that Kendrick's recent impromptu free show was shut down by the LAPD who couldn't handle the crowds.

After the Lakers won 114-102 on Friday, Kendrick sent a tweet out to his fans cluing them in on a free show he'd be doing outside the Staples Center. Lamar posted up on a double decker bus and performed "The Recipe" and "Swimming Pools" before LAPD choppers and squad cars rolled in to ruin the fun. According to police, the crowd was simply getting too large for them to deal with.
