A$AP Rocky has yet to drop his debut album as of yet, but the young Harlem rapper has already developed quite the buzz during his short career. Appearing on the cover of Complex Magazine (for the second time), Rocky spoke about a number of topics. Topics discussed in the sit down included fashion, the culture of Hip Hop changing, and how kids look up to him and try to mimic his style.
But what was probably the most interesting part of the interview was when the conversation shifted towards Kanye West. With fashion being one of Rocky's favorite things and Kanye falling under the same category, A$AP feels that he's certainly influenced the "Louis Vuitton Don" in one way or another.
"Of course. That's obvious," A$AP said when asked if he thinks his influence has reached people like Kanye West.
"We're all in the same circle. He's way richer than me, but of course he's influenced by me. C'mon, bro. I made waxed denim cool in hip-hop. F***ing waxed denim and rips in jeans. Nobody else did that. I don't give a f***. I didn't know what I was doing. These jeans are Balmain, and I wear them with a Supreme jacket. Of course I'm influencing."
