According to the New York Post, Jay-Z is being hailed a Hurricane Sandy savior after he reportedly bough a generator to power 195 Hudson St., where he and Beyoncé own a nearly $7 million loft. Jay and Beyonce took refuge at the Mandarin Oriental following the damaging storm, but didn't forget about their less fortunate neighbors.
The TribecaCitizen.com also reported on the story, but when the Post asked Jay-Z's rep about his alleged gesture, they were met with a "no comment."
