MLB Baseball Star Pleads Guilty After Yelling Racial Slur

Back in April, Major League Baseball outfielder Delmon Young was arrested in New York City after screaming a racial slur at a Jewish man and tackling another spectator. Now, the current free agent has plead guilty to aggravated harassment for what's being called a hate crime, according to TMZ.
During the time after his arrest, Young was put on the restricted list by his former team, the Detroit Tigers. The league ultimately suspended Young for seven days without pay. As part of plea deal, Young is to perform 10 days of community service as well as partake in a hate crime program at New York's Museum of Tolerance.
If Young is able to complete his sentencing, he can plead to just harassment, which is a lesser crime.
