According to TMZ, Terry Bradshaw is "really upset" that he's being accused of being a racist after comparing Reggie Bush's touchdown run to someone chasing a "bucket of chicken", and claims that it's all a big misunderstanding.

Bradshaw explained to TMZ that it's a tradition for fellow FOX NFL analyst Jimmy Johnson to eat a bucket of KFC after Sunday's pregame show, and that everyone jokes on him for the ritual.

Johnson corroborated the claim, saying, "Every Sunday I get 4 pieces of fried chicken, dark meat, and I eat it right there on the set."

Bradshaw is adamant that his chicken comment was in reference to Jimmy Johnson's culinary tradition, and had nothing to do with Bush.

"I'm having a hard time with this...because that's not me. I never put those two things together because I don't think like that," he told TMZ, adding, "I understand why people are upset because they don't know the inside story."

Johnson agreed that there was zero racist intent, saying, "I love fried chicken. A lot of people love fried chicken, so what's the big deal?"
