According to multiple reports, former Major League Baseball pitcher Pascual Perez was attacked and stabbed to death in his Dominican Republic home. Full details about the incident are still sketchy at the moment, but reports say there was a home invasion which eventually led to the stabbing of the former baseball player.
Further reports say that the 11-year Major League veteran was stabbed in the neck during the tense situation. It remains unclear as to why the incident occurred, but there is speculation that Perez was murdered over the MLB pension payment he received at some point before the incident took place.
Pascual played for a number of different Major League teams during his career and even became an All Star back in 1983. There has been no arrest made in connection with the murder.
