46) Kidz in the Hall

Chicago rap group Kidz in the Hall started getting popular right when new acts were getting lumped into the hipster-hop category. Although not hipsters by general stereotype, the college-educated duo seemed to be part of a growing number of acts that get dubbed as hipster for having a retro late 80s or early 90s vibe, since that sound isn't today's hip-hop mainstream.

The group's most recent project, Occasion, was released in late 2011.
