After failing to agree to an extension with James Harden, the Thunder moved the Sixth Man of the Year to the Rockets Saturday night in exchange for Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb.

"I would love to thank Oklahoma City for 2 amazing years!" Harden tweeted on Sunday. "Teammates and Fans were thee best. The love will always be there. Thanks again."

The Thunder offered Harden a $55.5 million contract over four years, but Harden will be getting the $60 million max offer from the Rockets.

"We wanted to sign James to an extension, but at the end of the day, these situations have to work for all those involved. Our ownership group again showed their commitment to the organization with several significant offers," said Thunder general manager Sam Presti.
