Most recently, Shyne made headlines by bashing Kendrick Lamar's debut album, expressing his dismay for the record and calling it trash. But Lamar's "good kid, M.A.A.D. City" isn't the only issue on Shyne's agenda. The rapper continues to have mixed thoughts about President Obama in regards his deportation case and why Barack hasn't allowed him to secure a work visa to get back into the country. Shyne's been trying to get back into the U.S. since he was deported to Belize after being released from prison in 2009.

In a recent interview, the former Bad Boy Records artist says that President Obama doesn't recognize his worth.

"For whatever reason President Obama don't see the benefit that I bring to the African and Latin-American impoverished communities throughout the United States of America," Shyne said.

"He doesn't seem to get the fact that [there is] nobody more [qualified] than myself to speak to these kids in an honest way with integrity, that can influence them to change their lives and turn their lives around. He doesn't get the fact that I'm the spokesperson to combat the violence in inner cities."

Shyne remains optimistic that he'll make it back into the United States, even providing an anticipated date of his return.

"We're working on getting a visa, so I should be in the United States in March of 2013, with or without Obama," he concluded.
