Bobby Brown was taken in by the LAPD for the second time this year on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A police spokeswoman says Brown's car was stopped in the Topanga area around 1 a.m. early Wednesday morning. Cops approached the singer's car, at which point they detected a strong odor of alcohol. Brown was asked to get out of his car, and according to TMZ, he then performed very poorly on a field sobriety test.

43-year-old Brown pleaded no contest to a DUI in back in March, and also has a DUI conviction on his record from 1996.

So far, no word from Brown's camp.
