Pharrell recently praised up-and-coming rapper Kendrick Lamar for his talents and success. His debut album under a major label is about to drop on Monday, October 22nd, and Pharrell recently made the comparison between Kendrick Lamar to being this era's Bob Dylan on Twitter.

Pharell hasnt had a hit since 2003... And lamar hasnt made anytin to make me say hes dope...dat short nigga lamar wit no sense of style outdated haircut,he looks like he has a napoleon complex goin on..nigga only been gettin passes by has beens...havent heard anytin worth listenin too

kendrick lamar could have came out under a small label and none of these artist would even pay attention to him, but since he is signed to a major label everyone always pushes the same artist its all an industry, the guy is a decent rapper at best, dont forget they was all talking about Bishop Lamant also when he was on aftermath that he was this and that and Bishop lamant was a tight rapper acutally better then kendrick, but when Bishop Lamant left aftermath do you hear any of the other industry rappers mention him now or media,, its all bulllshit , most people dont know whats good or not they only listen to artist the mainstream feeds them, and kendrick is a good rapper but nothing great above others,

LMAOOOO Nigga Bishop Lamont never even dropped an album kendrick dropped 2 itunes albums and one physical release! Listen to ronald reagan era, rigamortis, keisha's song, good kid, heaven or hell, and cartoon and cereal...he is the first mainstream rapper in years who is actually worth the hype
