In a juvenile court hearing on Wednesday, prosecutors argued that rapper Chief Keef violated his parole due to his actions in a particular video. Cook County prosecutors explained why they feel he belongs back behind bars with the 17-year-old Chicago native listening on.
The Interscope artist is currently serving 18 months of probation after he pointed a gun at a Chicago police officer. Prosecutors contend that he violated his probation by being in possession of a gun in a video that was posted online. Chief Keef was at a gun range during a June interview and was seen holding a gun, the prosecutors pointed out. They believe it's a violation, because part of Chief Keef's probation forbids him from having any guns.
An immediate ruling wasn't made in the hearing, but Cook County Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker has decided to hold another hearing in November to discuss two alleged violations by Chief Keef.
