NBA superstar LeBron James is one of the more well known professional athletes in all of sports, as he's become the face of the league over the past few years. Of course, he also became the most hated person in his hometown of Cleveland after he made the decision to leave the Cavaliers and sign with the Miami Heat in 2010. Fans from different cities expressed their disgust for LeBron, who even has haters in places very far away from both Cleveland and Miami.
An al Qaeda prisoner currently locked up in Guantanamo Bay revealed to his attorney that he feels LeBron James is a "very bad man'' in regards to James' decision to leave Cleveland for Miami.
Kevin Bogucki, military defense lawyer, says his client Muhammed Rahim formed his opinion of LeBron awhile back, but it was kept a secret until now. Bogucki says Rahim wrote a note criticizing James for his highly publicized decision.
"LeBron James is a very bad man. He should apologize to the city of Cleveland," the prisoner wrote.
Because Rahim is detained at Guantanamo Bay, anything he says or writes is scrutinized and considered to be "top secret" until it can be proven that it's safe to disclose that information, says his attorney.
"It took that classification authority approximately two months to determine that my client's opinion of LeBron James did not pose a grievous threat to national security."
