The Super Bowl is one of the biggest attractions in the sports industry, drawing a large number of spectators each and every year. The spectacle is known more for its entertainment and commercials than the actual game sometimes, and the halftime show always takes a major piece of the action - Super Bowl XLVII (47) will be no different.
Reports say Beyonce will be taking the stage at halftime of the Super Bowl this coming February. Fans have been eager to see her live on a more consistent basis after her hiatus, and what better stage than the Super Bowl? This performance will also be a way for Beyonce to promote any new material that she's working on.
Beyonce's performance at the upcoming Super Bowl will mark her second time taking part in the festivities. Back in 2004, she sang the National Anthem in her hometown of Houston.
An official announcement of this future performance will be made on Wednesday, October 17th. Super Bowl XLVII will be taking place on February 3rd at the Superdome in New Orleans.
