The New York Jets' Monday night loss to the Houston Texans once again revealed how much they've been struggling due to injuries at the wide receiver position. Since Santonio Holmes went down, the Jets' passing offense has been dismal, and they've even had to use cornerback Antonio Cromartie as a wide out. Out of work footballer Terrell Owens thinks he can be the answer to the Jets' prayers and he tweeted that he was "available" if they needed him. It would seem that Jets head coach Rex Ryan hasn't exactly ruled out a possible T.O. signing.

According to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini, Rex Ryan left all wide receiver possibilities open with a brief response to Terrell Owens' plea.

"You never say never, (I'll) look at all options," said Rex Ryan.

Whatever the New York Jets are planning to do to remedy their recent woes, they better do it fast as things won't get any easier as the season progresses. Terrell Owens is currently a free agent and has already shown one organization, the Seattle Seahawks, that he still has something left in the tank. A deal between the Jets and T.O. may not be as far-fetched as many may think.
