NFL star Michael Vick was once a top quarterback in the league as a member of the Atlanta Falcons, but his 2007 dog fighting conviction not only took him away from the game, but it also made him a highly despised figure. Since his return to the NFL, many have overlooked his past mistakes, but they haven't forgotten about them, and a recent Twitpic from Vick himself has attained quite the buzz.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback tweeted a photo of himself looking over film for a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (which they lost on Sunday). His daughter was seen doing homework in the photo, but what grabbed everyone's attention was the box of Milk Bones doggy treats in upper right corner of the photo. The box was on the table where the father and daughter were sitting and caused quite the stir among those who noticed it.
Vick, who is the 2010 NFL Comeback Player Of The Year, is allowed to own a dog legally. But because of his past, there are many who feel a bit uneasy about it. One thing to point out about the photo is that Vick deleted it minutes after he posted it. He then tweeted again with the doggy treats cropped out.
Do you find this to be a big deal?
