A recent interview shed some light on the beef between fellow Clevelanders Machine Gun Kelly and Kid Cudi. Kelly claims he's attempted to reach out to Cudi, but that his attempts have been unsuccessful. The Bad Boy artist nobly said he'd rather see mentorship than rivalry in hip hop.
"He feels a certain way about me, to my knowledge. I keep trying to meet him, just never happened," said MGK. "I take certain thing certain ways. Certain comments you can just tell are about you."
Still, MGK had no intention of dissing Cudi or going at him in any way. In fact, he says he enjoys Cudi's music. "In my honest opinion, I believe, as an O.G. like Cudi, who has been in the game two albums now, as an older guy, I'll be looking at a young cat coming out of Cleveland and put my arm around him. Because that's definitely what I'm doing," explained Kelly. "I guess I'm just a little bitter on that, but all respect to everybody. I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not a fan of his music."
It seems like MGK just wants some love from the hometown hero.
