It's been well documented that President Barack Obama is a big fan of Hip Hop music, but he's not the only member of the family who likes to listen to the rap industry's best artists. He says one of his daughters, Malia, also loves the sound and rhythm of Hip Hop. But at the same time, the President says it's something they can't enjoy together. He cites explicit lyrics as his reason and uses rap veterans Jay-Z and Nas as examples.

"We actually share tastes in hip-hop and rap music but we don't listen to it together, because some of the language in there would embarrass me — at least while I'm listening to it with her. Folks like Jay-Z, Nas, we both like them, but when it comes on and I'm sitting with her and Sasha, then I fast-forward because it would make me blush."

Despite his daughter's love for rap music, Obama says Malia's music taste isn't limited to just Hip Hop.

"You know, we actually don't constrain what she listens to," he said. "We expect her to show some good judgment. She listens to my iPod and has gotten hip to stuff that was made well before she was born like Motown, jazz, classic rock."
