Mike Tyson Not Allowed In New Zealand

Mike Tyson will not be visiting New Zealand anytime soon. New Zealand lawmaker Kate Wilkinson canceled Tyson's visa due to his 1991 conviction of rape. The Prime Minister of the country had previously spoken out about the former bruiser coming to New Zealand.

Tyson was booked for a November speaking engagement called "Day of the Champions", and planned to visit the indigenous Maori people who were the inspiration for his infamous face tat. His New Zealand appearance was only one part of a "Down Under" tour, as he is also supposed to pass through Australia. Unfortunately, Australia's Deprartment of Immigration says Tyson's visa application is "still pending".

unfortunately thats the law in NZ and Australia, thats their policy. If you got a record like his you can be denied...the sad part about it is that they refuse to recognize the beautiful human being he is today...their lost....Mike Tyson should create a website where the people of NZ could log on to and watch him live speaking to them and maybe not charge as much. New Zealand doesn't have a beautiful history either so they should chill out.
