UPDATE! 50 Cent & Fat Joe Shake Hands in Chris Lighty Tribute

Funkmaster Flex witnessed Fat Joe and 50 Cent shaking hands and air-checking backstage at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards as part of a Chris Lighty tribute.

Fellow New York rappers 50 Cent and Fat Joe have maintained a heated rivalry for some time. Their rap beef is one of the more notable in recent history, and while it's been kept to a minimum, there's still no love lost. But the two may set aside their differences for the upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards show, as its been rumored that a tribute to the late Chris Lighty will be a part of the show, with both 50 Cent and Fat Joe performing. The two were both in attendance at Lighty's funeral, though they did not acknowledge one another.

When Tracy McGraw, BET's Vice President of Communications, was asked about the potential for a tribute to Lighty, he gave a vague response and refused to go into any detail.

"That's a good question. I think we'll just go with 'Could not confirm," McGraw simply stated.

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards show is scheduled to air on Tuesday, October 9th.

They need to show some evidence like photos of Fat Joe and 50 Cent making up like to grown men. It can go both ways you can see it both ways as well so whatever, I just do not understand how people want more violence and rather see these 2 go at it than just squash things and go on with their lives.
