New Barclays Center Unveiled In Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Brooklyn Nets unveiled their new Barclays Center arena with a special ribbon cutting ceremony. The Nets majority owner Mikhail D. Prokhorov and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg were present to cut the ribbon to signify the completion of the new Barclays Center. Mayor Bloomberg was extremely excited about the opening of the new venue and what it stood for Brooklyn and New York in general.
"This is going to send a loud and clear message that Brooklyn has arrived as a center of exciting entertainment, thrilling big-time sports, and thriving commerce. This really is a great day for Brooklyn and a great day for New York City."
