Late last month, Lil Wayne made headlines when he shared his feelings about New York City. He couldn't keep his dislike for The Big Apple inside any longer and said in an interview "Flat out: I don't like New York." Wayne's comments created quite a stir among many people and are still being discussed today. Fellow rappers T.I. and French Montana recently chimed in on the matter and explained how they felt about Weezy's remarks.

"You gotta understand where a man coming from," T.I. said. "I was in Arkansas. I ain't been back since. I'm not saying I support anyone not liking New York. What I'm saying is, people who haven't gone through that process of having their freedom taken from you and the whole process, the legal process, the incarceration process, you have to take all this into consideration. The people in the city, it could be the jurisdiction over the city. These stakes are too high and it's just too difficult to move around here."

Bad Boys artist French Montana shared a similar position to that of T.I.'s.

"I mean if I was to go to New Orleans and catch a gun charge, I think there might be a point in time when I get sick and tired, and be like man I hate New Orleans," explained French Montana. "It might not mean I hate the people, it's that's what I hate. Sometimes you might be like I hate Jamaican food, I'm not saying I hate Jamaicans. I think it go like that and I think that's why nobody really got at him yet for saying that."

Do you feel the same way as French and T.I.?
