Tensions Flare On American Idol Set: Nicki vs Mariah

It looks like it's going to be a battle of the divas on this season of American Idol, as Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have reportedly already been going at each other's throats with passive aggressive jabs. During the first taping of American Idol this past Sunday, September 16th, it was reported that the tension between the two women was palpable during the entire auditioning process.
According to various "spy" sources, there were several times when Nicki would begin to critique a contestant, and Mariah would cut her off and give her own opinion. Nicki would then respond in kind and begin speaking very loudly over Mariah. One of the sources on the set during the battle of the diva egos was quoted as saying, "These girls just don't like each other."
The tension between these two should be just as interesting as the actual talent that will be competing on the show.
