Producer Hit Boy has become a formidable asset for many artists, including the likes of Kanye West. Since producing the hit track "N***** In Paris", Hit Boy has become a go-to producer for the G.O.O.D. Music front man. In a recent interview, he talks about his latest work for Kanye which comes in the form of the song "Clique", which also features Big Sean and Jay-Z.

"I was just like doing me once again," Hit Boy says. "[I] Just made a beat and he [West] liked it, and we built on it and it became 'Clique.'"

He then speaks on having to be persistent and diligent when it comes to working alongside someone like Kanye West, who is somewhat of a perfectionist.

"Nothing is ever right the first time, or the second time, or the third time. You just gotta keep going until it appeases him, and he's always right, I feel like."

With G.O.O.D. Music's much anticipated album "Cruel Summer" on the way later this month, it will be interesting to see what other work Hit Boy has contributed to Yeezy and his crew. He's also working on his own project, and says he wants fans to become more familiar with who he is.

"I want people to further know who I am so I'm just working on more songs. It might be an album, it might be a mixtape, you never know."
