A US TV station has issued an apology for showing the face of R&B singer Seal during a commemorative segment related to Michael Clarke Duncan's death.

As the station discussed Duncan's life and his achievements, Seal was the only visual. They even showed a picture of Seal and estranged wife Heidi Klum. The station took to Facebook to issue the apology which read, "Yep, our bad; we own it. A careless editing error at the end of the Michael Clarke Duncan story in our 11pm news. Two entertainment stories accidentally merged into one video clip. Sincere apologies."

Coroners ruled yesterday that Duncan did indeed pass away from natural causes.
