It only took one day after the "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" reunion episode aired for Mickey "Memphitz" Wright to file a lawsuit against the creators of the hit VH1 show, which includes Viacom International, Inc., NFGTV, Inc., and Monami Entertainment, LLC.
Since the show hit TV screens all across the nation, Memphitz's reputation has been repeatedly bashed by his ex-girlfriend, K. Michelle, who has been claiming that he beat her one night during a verbal altercation that turned physical. She claimed to have suffered burns, bruises, and scars on her body from the physical altercation.
Memphitz has denied that any such beating ever took place and is now seeking legal action against the show's creators for severely damaging his reputation. Check out the statement Memphitz released regarding the lawsuit:
"My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others."
