Nicki Minaj's appearance on Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 mixtape seems to have ruffled some feathers, as she seems to rap about supporting Mitt Romney on one of the tracks. The YMCMB rap queen spit:
"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b*tches is f*cking up the economy."
Many people have been alarmed by her questionable rhyme, and some have responded very negatively towards her apparent support of the Republican presidential candidate. Only thing is, are we all sure that Minaj is actually supporting Mitt Romney, or throwing a subliminal shot at the Republican party in general?
Since Nicki is known for taking on multiple personalities, each with a mind of its own, her line could be interpreted as her putting herself in the body of a Republican who is voting for Mitt Romney, and thus, she would be saying that it is the Republicans who are the "lazy b*tches f*cking up the economy."
Fellow rapper Talib Kweli responded to Nicki's lyrics by tweeting about how he heard a man on Hot 97 say that he wouldn't let his daughters listen to her anymore because of her alleged supportive lyrics about Mitt Romney.
Only Nicki knows what she really meant when she spit those bars, but maybe in the future she'll come out and explain exactly what message she was trying to get across to the public.
