Roc Nation signee Jay Electronica appeared and performed at Jay-Z's "Made In America" festival yesterday, and revealed a funny interaction he had with Hov.
When Jay Elect realized he didn't get a call from Hov asking him to perform at the music mogul's "Made In America" festival, he sent Jay an e-mail inquiring into why he wasn't picked. Hov said, "Ohh, you still perform?" For Electronica, those types of jokes must be getting a little old, but he embraces it anyways. "You know," explains Jay Elect, "he always jokes like that."
Questions about whether or not Jay Electronica would ever release his debut album have been prevalent, considering his general absence from the spotlight altogether. Thankfully, Jay Elect says this concert helped him to "get his feet back wet."
