Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested in early July on a disturbing the peace charge. Police responded to an early-morning call at an Embassy Suites hotel in Omaha and according to a police report, a hotel security guard who was also an off-duty officer attempted to subdue Jordan while he was engaged in a shouting match with two women. The officer says Jordan was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative."

As a result of this incident, Jordan pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace and was hit with a $250 fee. In conjunction with a plea agreement, an additional obstruction charge was ultimately dropped.

Prosecutor Marty Conboy stated that there was video footage of the incident and explained what he saw on the tape.

"You can see him going over his shoulder. They're still jawing. As they start pushing back, they go to the ground. It was very brief," Conboy said.

Jordan still attends Central Florida University but is no longer a member of the basketball team.
