Long time rapper LL Cool J sprung into action when an intruder broke into his Los Angeles mansion in an attempt to burglarize the premises. According to the LAPD, the rapper was on an upper level of his home when he heard strange noises coming from the first floor. As he went to check out the ruckus, he discovered a would-be burglar inside.
Reports say the intrusion triggered LL's home alarm and alerted the police. But before they arrived, the rap veteran took matters into his own hands and got involved in a physical altercation with the intruder as he tried to escape. He was able to keep the suspect around long enough for police to arrive and arrest the individual.
LL Cool J was not harmed during the incident, but sources say the intruder was bruised up a bit. He was ultimately charged with burglary.
