Obama Mispronounces Nas' Name During Interview

As the first hip hop friendly President, Obama is responsible for knowing his music. He's mentioned liking Jay-Z and even crooned some Al Green for a surprised audience. His level of pop culture knowledge far exceeds that of any other President we've ever had. Still, at the end of the day, Obama is a 51-year-old man with two little girls and a country to run. He can't be on top of everything. So, when Barack pronounced Nas' name the same way you'd pronounce 'has', hip hop fans buried their face in their hands.
Obama made the gaffe on a New Mexico radio station, somewhere in between questions about his favorite food and his favorite super powers. They asked who his favorite pop music picks would be, and Obama answered, Jay-Z, Beyonce, you know, Nas."
Nas has been a supporter of Obama from the beginning, going as far as making the song "Black President" in Barack's honor.
