MC Eiht Beefing With Ryan Lochte Over Phrase

U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte wants to trademark his phrase "Jeah", but he's going to have to go through one of Compton's Most Wanted first. MC Eiht of the aforementioned group claims he coined the phrase "Jeah" back in 1988, and is shocked Lochte is now trying to "steal" it from him.
"Why try and trademark something his a** didn't even create? I am mad that he isn't giving me proper recognition for taking my saying. He is just disrespectful."
Eiht says he doesn't even care about the money--it's about the honor, or as he puts it, "respect and truth."
The California legend plans on sending Lochte a cease and desist letter, though nothing has been drawn up thus far.

I am white but I see what happens here. White people taking everything black people worked for & invented and trademark it so they can profit of it - see what happened to Hip Hop!!! Blacks need to get their shit trademarked not matter what. If MC Eight would've come out a few years ago and said that he wanted to trademark Jhea y'all would've thought he was stupid but now some white dude wants to trademark it, y'all say that it's MC Eight's fault?! Fuck outta here ........by the way it shouldn't be allowed to trademark a phrase or a saying since it's spoken language.....at least this fuck Ryan should say who he got it from..........

the judge will look at what Mc Eiht has accomplished ( Menace to Society & the trigger has no heart) and Ryan Lochte ( US olympic gold medal winner) and easy award Ryan Lochte with the trademark. Sorry , Eiht you haven't done anything for the last 12 years . Jhea
