In yet another recent lawsuit, the Beastie Boys are taking Monster Energy to court for using the songs "Sabotage", "So Whatcha Want", and "Looking Down the Barrel" in ads without permission.

According to E! News, Monster used the songs in a 2012 ad called "Ruckus in the Rockies", and the Beastie Boys were having none of it.

"The text accompanying Monster's internet postings, video, and MP3 conveyed to consumers the impression that Beastie Boys permitted the use of their name and intellectual property, and participated in connection with Monster's promotion of its products and events," reads the suit.

The Beastie Boys are seeking an unspecified amount in the case.
